Olympic Gymnastics Center

OVERVIEW

Olympic Gymnastics Center has been Kitsap County’s premier gymnastics center for more than 25 years, offering recreational and competitive gymnastics for children ages 18 months and older from a 10,000 square foot training facility in Silverdale, Washington. Founded and operated with a commitment to creating a safe and fun environment where every child can reach their goals and dreams, OGC serves the entire Kitsap Peninsula with a program that has produced a National Vault Champion and competes at the highest junior Olympic levels.

In addition to its core gymnastics programming, OGC offers Urban classes, Teen Tumbling, cheerleading-focused tumbling, and an adult Urban class, making it one of the most versatile gymnastics and movement facilities on the Kitsap Peninsula.

THE GYM

Olympic Gymnastics Center operates at 8511 Dickey Place NW in Silverdale, Washington, in a 10,000 square foot facility that serves as the training home for both recreational gymnasts and competitive team athletes. The gym is equipped with apparatus for all major gymnastics events and supports competitive programming from Xcel through JO Levels 3 through 10. A parent viewing area allows families to watch classes, and birthday parties are hosted at the facility throughout the year.

OGC’s competitive program has earned notable recognition at the national level, including a 2022 National Vault Champion in Mya, who won vault titles at the Washington State Championships, Regionals, and Nationals in the same season. This level of individual national success reflects the technical quality of the coaching staff and the long-term investment OGC makes in developing each athlete who participates in its competitive program.

PROGRAMS AT THE GYM

Recreational Gymnastics

Olympic Gymnastics Center offers recreational gymnastics for children ages 18 months and older, structured progressively through multiple skill levels. Classes develop coordination, strength, flexibility, and confidence in a fun and encouraging environment. Monthly Kids’ Nights and weekly Practice Gyms provide additional opportunities for students to enjoy the facility outside of regular class time.

Classes run Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. To enroll or inquire about current class availability, please call (360) 698-7709 or email olympicgymnastics@icloud.com.

Urban, Tumbling, and Competitive Team

OGC offers co-ed Urban classes for youth ages 7 through 13 and an adult Urban class for ages 14 and up at a drop-in rate of $5 per session. Teen Tumbling and cheerleading tumbling classes provide additional athletic programming options. The competitive team competes at Xcel and JO Levels 3 through 10, with a summer recreational meet offered annually for recreational gymnasts to experience a competition environment. Birthday parties round out the gym’s community programming calendar.
