Crystals Gymnastics (Mel Korum YMCA)

OVERVIEW

Crystals Gymnastics is the USAG-affiliated gymnastics program operating within the Mel Korum Family YMCA in Puyallup, Washington. Owned and operated by Elissa Torres, Crystals Gymnastics provides recreational and competitive gymnastics instruction for children ages 3 through 18 in a welcoming, family-centered environment supported by the full amenities of one of Pierce County’s premier YMCA facilities.

The Mel Korum Family YMCA is a comprehensive community wellness center offering a wide range of programs for all ages alongside the gymnastics program. Families participating in Crystals Gymnastics have access to the full YMCA campus, which includes an indoor pool, fitness center, indoor track, and extensive youth programming, making it a convenient and active destination for South Sound families throughout the year.

THE GYM

Crystals Gymnastics operates within the Mel Korum Family YMCA at 302 43rd Avenue SE in Puyallup, Washington. The YMCA facility features a dedicated gymnastics area with professional-grade equipment for both recreational classes and competitive team training. A YMCA membership is required to participate in gymnastics classes, which are included in the membership price for recreational and preschool levels.

Recreational Gymnastics

Crystals Gymnastics offers recreational gymnastics classes for boys and girls ages 3 through 18. Classes are structured to develop foundational gymnastics skills, coordination, strength, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Competitive Team

Crystals Gymnastics fields a competitive team as a USAG member club, providing Puyallup-area athletes with access to competitive gymnastics programming within the YMCA setting. The program participates in USAG-sanctioned competitions at the regional and state level. Birthday parties and seasonal camps are also available through the program.
