OVERVIEW
Oregon Gymnastics Academy (OGA) is a non-profit gymnastics organization in Beaverton, Oregon, whose mission is to promote and motivate character, fitness, and health in the lives of athletes, employees, and the community through the sport of gymnastics. Founded in 1978 and expanded in 2009 to its current 24,000 square foot facility, OGA is one of Oregon’s oldest and most respected gymnastics programs, recognized as the USAG Oregon Xcel Club of the Year for its excellence in competitive programming and community service.
OGA’s commitment to inclusion and accessibility sets it apart from most gymnastics programs in the Pacific Northwest. The gym’s All Star Program provides adaptive gymnastics instruction to more than 50 children and families, working with students with autism, developmental differences, and other special needs in a personalized and patient class format. OGA also offers member grants and tuition assistance, an off-site outreach program, and community service projects through the Character Counts! program making it one of the most community-rooted gymnastics organizations in Oregon.
THE GYM
Oregon Gymnastics Academy operates at 16305 NW Bethany Court Suite 109 in Beaverton, Oregon, in a 24,000 square foot facility that houses multiple sets of gymnastics equipment, two foam pits, a trench pit, and a wide variety of trampoline options. The facility is designed to support OGA’s full range of programming from toddler recreational classes through competitive team, adaptive gymnastics, and adult fitness.
All OGA classes are taught by background-screened, CPR and First Aid certified instructors who undergo rigorous ongoing training. The gym’s coaching staff combines technical gymnastics expertise with a genuine commitment to each child’s overall development, and the facility’s size and equipment variety make OGA one of the most capable gymnastics training environments in the Portland metro area.
PROGRAMS AT THE GYM
Recreational Gymnastics Ages 1 to 17
OGA offers over 200 recreational class options for students ages 1 through 17, covering beginner, intermediate, and advanced instruction in artistic gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline, and cheerleading tumbling. Classes are available Monday through Sunday with broad scheduling to accommodate Beaverton and northwest Portland families throughout the week.

Competitive Team and All Star Adaptive Program
OGA fields competitive boys and girls gymnastics teams as a USAG member club and offers recreational cheerleading alongside its competitive curriculum. OGA’s All Star adaptive program is one of the most distinctive and impactful programs in the gym, providing personalized gymnastics instruction for children with autism, developmental differences, and other special needs in a patient, caring, and achievement-focused class environment.
Birthday Parties, Camps, and Community Programs
OGA offers birthday parties, Parents Night Out, open play times, day camps, and summer camps in addition to regular class programming. The gym’s community service projects through Character Counts!, donation drives, and annual scholarship competition reflect OGA’s identity as a genuinely mission-driven organization committed to making gymnastics accessible and meaningful for all Oregon families.
