OVERVIEW

Silverton Gymnastics Academy is a gymnastics facility in Silverton, Oregon, serving the Silver Falls country communities with recreational and competitive gymnastics for children from preschool age through junior high. Founded in 2016 and recognized as the 2022 USAG Oregon Xcel Club of the Year and 2025 runner-up, Silverton Gymnastics has built a strong reputation as a values-driven gymnastics program that treats every child as a capable, brave, and brilliant athlete.

The gym’s coaching staff is known throughout the Silverton community for its patience, encouragement, and genuine investment in each child’s development. Silverton Gymnastics has cultivated a reputation as a bright spot in the community a place where children with a wide range of abilities, including those with autism and ADHD, are welcomed, challenged, and celebrated in equal measure alongside athletes pursuing competitive gymnastics at the highest Xcel levels.

Silverton Gymnastics Academy operates at 1206 Eska Way in Silverton, Oregon, providing Silver Falls country families with access to a dedicated gymnastics facility for both recreational and competitive programming. As the primary gymnastics program serving the Silverton area, the academy plays an important role in the local youth athletics community, offering a structured and encouraging gymnastics experience for children who would otherwise need to travel to Salem or the broader Willamette Valley for gymnastics instruction.

The program is led with an emphasis on building brave, bold, and brilliant gymnasts a coaching philosophy that values character and confidence alongside technical gymnastics skill. The academy’s small-community feel and values-centered approach have earned it a loyal and enthusiastic following among Silverton and surrounding area families.

PROGRAMS AT THE GYM

Preschool and Recreational Gymnastics

Silverton Gymnastics Academy offers preschool gymnastics for young children and recreational gymnastics classes for boys and girls through junior high age, structured to develop foundational gymnastics technique and physical confidence in an encouraging and age-appropriate class environment. My Kid N Me, Tiny Tot, and progressive recreational levels provide a clear pathway for students of all starting points.

Competitive Xcel Team

Silverton Gymnastics Academy fields a competitive Xcel gymnastics team recognized as the 2022 USAG Oregon Xcel Club of the Year, reflecting the program’s excellence in developing competitive Xcel athletes in a small-community setting. The competitive program provides Silverton-area athletes with the coaching and support needed to compete at the state and regional levels within the USAG Xcel framework.
