Motion Matrix

OVERVIEW

Motion Matrix is a 21,250 square foot gymnastics and movement facility in Grants Pass, Oregon, serving the Rogue Valley with recreational and competitive gymnastics, tumbling, ninja, parkour, and a Gym and Learn preschool program for children from 18 months through teen age. Located just off I-5 at Exit 58, Motion Matrix has established itself as the premier youth movement destination in Josephine County, serving families throughout Grants Pass, Cave Junction, and the surrounding southern Oregon communities with an exceptionally broad and well-equipped programming environment.

Motion Matrix was recognized as the USAG Oregon Compulsory Club of the Year runner-up, reflecting the quality of the gym’s competitive gymnastics program, and has produced athletes who compete at the USAG Region 2 Western Championships at the highest compulsory and optional levels. The gym’s 21,250 square foot facility is one of the largest dedicated gymnastics centers in southern Oregon, providing a wide range of active and educational programming options for the Grants Pass community.

THE GYM

Motion Matrix operates at 2051 NW Hawthorne Avenue in Grants Pass, Oregon, in a 21,250 square foot facility accessible directly from I-5 at Exit 58. The facility features full gymnastics apparatus, a ninja and parkour obstacle area, trampoline and tumbling areas, and a dedicated preschool and toddler space making it one of the most comprehensively equipped youth movement facilities in the Rogue Valley.

All Motion Matrix coaches hold safety certifications and maintain an exceptional standard of care for every student in the program. The gym’s team-oriented coaching philosophy develops compassion, respect, and team building skills alongside physical gymnastics development, and the facility’s combination of sports science and play-based learning has made it the go-to gymnastics destination for Grants Pass families for many years.

PROGRAMS AT THE GYM

Preschool Tiny Explorers, Toddlers, Tiny Town, Kindergym

Motion Matrix offers a comprehensive preschool and toddler gymnastics program starting at 18 months, with developmentally structured classes progressing from Tiny Explorers through Tiny Town and Kindergym. The gym’s Gym and Learn Plus Preschool is a licensed childcare center that integrates gymnastics and movement into a full preschool curriculum, providing Grants Pass families with a distinctive early childhood education option.

Recreational and Competitive Gymnastics, Tumbling, and Ninja

Motion Matrix offers recreational and competitive gymnastics classes for boys and girls from 18 months through teen age, alongside tumbling, NinjaKour, and pre-competitive gymnastics programming. The competitive team trains through the full USAG Junior Olympic program, with Motion Matrix athletes competing at the state, regional, and national levels. The gym also hosts field trips, birthday parties, Parents Night Out, and homeschool gymnastics classes throughout the year.
