Oahu Gymnastics and Ninja

OVERVIEW

Oahu Gymnastics and Ninja (OGN) is Kailua’s premier gymnastics and ninja training facility, located at 201 Kapa’a Quarry Place in the Kapa’a Quarry industrial park on the windward side of Oahu. The gym serves students ages 18 months through 18 years with recreational gymnastics, ninja training, and a competitive gymnastics team that has earned the strong support of the local community — the OGN Booster Club is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting team athletes and offsetting the high costs of competitive gymnastics. OGN’s dual gymnastics-and-ninja programming reflects a modern approach to youth athletics that gives students two distinct but complementary physical disciplines within one facility.

OGN is a USAG member club. All coaches are certified and background-checked. The gym’s community-oriented culture and the Booster Club’s mission of fostering excellence, teamwork, and personal growth in every gymnast have made OGN a beloved institution for Kailua-area families across the windward side of Oahu.

THE GYM

The Kapa’a Quarry Place facility provides dedicated spaces for both gymnastics and ninja training, with the appropriate equipment for each discipline. The gym’s location in the Kapa’a Quarry area makes it convenient for families across Kailua, Kaneohe, and the broader windward coast of Oahu. Birthday parties are available, and the gym’s active Booster Club organizes community fundraising and support activities throughout the competitive season.

PROGRAMS

Parent and Tot, and Preschool Gymnastics

Classes begin at 18 months with Parent and Tot, guiding the youngest students through obstacle courses that develop coordination, strength, and motor skills through climbing, rolling, jumping, and swinging. Preschool classes continue this foundational development as children grow toward independent instruction.

Recreational Gymnastics and Ninja

Recreational gymnastics classes for girls and boys progress through multiple skill levels covering all major gymnastics events. Ninja classes provide a complementary obstacle-course-based athletic training track for students interested in developing strength, agility, and gymnastics skills through a ninja warrior-inspired format.

Competitive Team

The OGN competitive team competes in USAG-sanctioned events at the Hawaii state level and in Region 2 competitions. The OGN Booster Club — a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit — supports team athletes through fundraising efforts and community engagement throughout the competitive season.
