American Gymnastics Club – Judah

OVERVIEW

American Gymnastics Club is a San Francisco gymnastics institution with two locations in the city, offering recreational and competitive gymnastics programs to children and youth throughout the Bay Area. The club has served San Francisco families for over 30 years and operates with a commitment to developing well-rounded athletes and confident young people. Both locations provide a welcoming, community-oriented environment where gymnasts of all skill levels can train and grow.

The Judah Street location is situated in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset neighborhood, while the Bayshore location serves families in the southeastern part of the city. Together, the two sites make American Gymnastics Club one of the most accessible gymnastics programs in San Francisco.

THE GYM

The Judah Street location at 2520 Judah Street has been a neighborhood fixture for San Francisco families in the Sunset District. The gym offers a range of classes across multiple age groups and skill levels, with a schedule designed to accommodate working families. Coaches are experienced in recreational instruction as well as competitive training for both boys and girls athletes.

PROGRAMS

Tots and Preschool Classes

American Gymnastics Club’s youngest programs serve toddlers and preschool-age children with parent-participation and independent classes. The Tots class introduces children to gymnastics equipment and movement in a safe, age-appropriate setting.

Recreational Gymnastics

Classes are available for school-age children and teens at multiple levels, covering both women’s artistic events and men’s gymnastics. The curriculum builds foundational skills progressively in a structured and encouraging environment.

Boys Gymnastics

American Gymnastics Club offers dedicated boys’ classes covering the six men’s Olympic events, making it one of the few San Francisco programs with active boys’ gymnastics instruction at multiple levels.
