OVERVIEW

Athletic Horizons Gymnastics Center is Chico’s premier gymnastics facility, located at 415 Otterson Drive in a 15,000-square-foot training space that has been voted Best Gymnastics Studio in the community for multiple consecutive years. The gym serves children from 18 months to 18 years and has built a reputation as a warm, welcoming place where every child is celebrated and encouraged. Athletic Horizons offers recreational gymnastics, ninja classes, birthday parties, open gym sessions, and seasonal camps throughout the year.

The gym’s spacious facility is fully equipped with multiple bars, beams, trampolines, springboards, and more, giving Chico-area families access to high-quality gymnastics training in a fun and positive environment. The coaching staff is dedicated to helping each child grow at their own pace while building the physical skills and personal confidence that gymnastics provides.

THE GYM

The 15,000-square-foot facility is located on Otterson Drive in Chico, making it accessible to families throughout Butte County and the surrounding region. The gym features equipment for all major gymnastics events and maintains a safe, clean environment for children of all skill levels. Athletic Horizons is a NorCal member club that competes in the regional gymnastics circuit.

PROGRAMS

Kinder and Tots Classes

Kinder gymnastics serves children from 18 months to 3.5 years, while the Tots program takes over for ages 3.5 to 6. Both programs focus on age-appropriate motor skill development, coordination, and making gymnastics fun from the very beginning.

Girls Recreation and Ninja

Girls’ recreational gymnastics is available for children 6 years and older at multiple levels. The Ninja class brings parkour-style obstacle challenges to the gym floor, offering an exciting complement to traditional gymnastics instruction for the same age group.

Open Gym and Camps

Fantastic Friday open play sessions are available for children 5 and under on select Fridays, and regular open gym for ages 6 and up runs on select Saturdays. Seasonal camps are offered during spring break and summer months.
