Byers Gymnastics Center - Citrus Heights

OVERVIEW

Byers Gymnastics Center’s Citrus Heights location at 7700 Sunrise Boulevard has been serving families in the Sacramento suburb since the location opened, expanding the Byers family of gyms to serve more communities across the greater Sacramento area. The Citrus Heights facility operates under the same philosophy that has defined Byers since 1986, building confidence that will last a lifetime through quality gymnastics instruction from preschool through the competitive levels.

The Citrus Heights location was recently recognized with the Business of Distinction Award, reflecting the gym’s reputation for excellence in instruction, community engagement, and family service. The facility hosts its own Xcel Bronze and Silver competitive teams and shares the strong Byers culture of developing whole athletes who are confident, honest, and committed.

THE GYM

Located at 7700 Sunrise Boulevard, Suite 2200, the Citrus Heights facility serves families in Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Orangevale, and the surrounding Sacramento communities. The gym is fully equipped for recreational and competitive gymnastics training and maintains the same high standards as the other Byers locations.

PROGRAMS

Preschool and Tots

Parent-participation classes begin at approximately 18 months, followed by Tot classes at age three. Both programs introduce young children to gymnastics through age-appropriate movement activities and build a foundation of motor skills and coordination.

Recreational Classes

Girls’ and boys’ classes are available at multiple levels for ages 6 through 18. The Citrus Heights location also accommodates homeschool students through its daytime class options aligned with the broader Byers program structure.

Xcel Competitive Teams

Byers Citrus Heights focuses its competitive program on Xcel Bronze and Silver levels, providing a competitive pathway for athletes interested in USA Gymnastics events at the regional and state level without the full-time commitment of the Junior Olympic track.

Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
