Clovis Academy of Gymnastics & Dance

OVERVIEW

Clovis Academy of Gymnastics & Dance has been giving Central California children the opportunity to experience the excitement and joy of gymnastics since 1974 — making it one of the oldest continuously operating gymnastics programs in the San Joaquin Valley. Located at 885 Gettysburg Avenue in Clovis, the program’s half-century legacy has made it a cornerstone of youth athletics in the greater Fresno-Clovis metro area. The academy’s mission is to provide a well-rounded experience in gymnastics, to motivate children to reach their dreams and goals, and to create a sense of accomplishment and success through skill progression — delivering an atmosphere where passion and the rewards of discipline and fun come together to enhance a child’s life forever.

Clovis Academy is a NorCal member club and USA Gymnastics member, serving children through recreational classes, competitive team programs, and tumbling and trampoline instruction. The program is also listed under the Clovis Unified School District sports and recreation umbrella, reflecting its long-standing role as a community institution in the Clovis and northeast Fresno communities.

THE GYM

The Gettysburg Avenue facility in Clovis is a large gymnastics center equipped for recreational and competitive programs across all levels. The gym has served the east side of the Fresno metro for five decades and continues to be a go-to destination for families looking for quality instruction in a structured, safe environment. All coaches are trained and certified under USA Gymnastics standards.

PROGRAMS

Preschool and Recreational Classes

Classes are available from preschool age through advanced levels for boys and girls, covering all major gymnastics events in a progressive skill-based curriculum. Dance classes complement the gymnastics program, making Clovis Academy a dual-discipline destination for families in the northeast Fresno area.

Competitive Team and T&T

The competitive team program competes in NorCal-sanctioned events at compulsory and optional levels. Tumbling and trampoline classes provide a high-energy complement to the artistic gymnastics curriculum, and the competitive T&T program gives athletes an additional competitive pathway through USA Gymnastics sanctioned events.
