Oceanside Gymnastics

OVERVIEW

Oceanside Gymnastics — operating as Athletic Achievement Inc. — has served the North County San Diego community since 2011 from its facility at 1935 Avenida Del Oro in Oceanside. The gym’s mission is to improve young lives in fitness and build self-confidence through gymnastics, offering programs for children from walking age through 18 years. By participating in gymnastics, students develop fundamental movement patterns and sports skills while gaining strength, flexibility, speed, and agility — foundational attributes that serve them well across all future athletic pursuits and in everyday life. Oceanside Gymnastics is a SoCal member club and USA Gymnastics member, fielding competitive teams in the Pre-Compulsory, Compulsory, Optional, and Xcel Bronze through Platinum programs throughout the regional season.

The gym is well-known in the Oceanside and broader North County area for its welcoming, family-focused environment and its breadth of programming, which extends to preschool day programs, open gym sessions, summer camps, and a robust birthday party program with full setup, entertainment, and cleanup handled by staff.

THE GYM

The Avenida Del Oro facility spans three suites (A, B, and C) in an Oceanside commercial park, providing ample space for the gym’s diverse programming. Equipment is maintained for all women’s artistic events plus trampoline, and the facility includes a dedicated preschool area alongside the main training floor. The gym welcomes drop-in rates for competitive team athletes visiting from out of town — a thoughtful touch for families traveling through North County during the season.

PROGRAMS

Preschool Day Program and Recreational Classes

A Preschool Day Program runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 to 11:30 AM, combining gymnastics equipment play with school-readiness concepts, arts and crafts, and physical activity. Recreational gymnastics classes are available for all ages from walking through 18 years at progressive skill levels.

Competitive Team

Oceanside Gymnastics fields Pre-Compulsory, Compulsory, Optional, and Xcel teams — a full competitive pathway from the introductory team level through Level 10. The gym welcomes drop-in training for visiting team athletes during the season.

Open Gym, Camps, and Birthday Parties

Open gym sessions, summer and holiday camps, and birthday party packages with full-service staff handling all setup, entertainment, and cleanup round out a comprehensive community programming menu.
