Redwood Empire Gymnastics

OVERVIEW

Redwood Empire Gymnastics (REG) is one of the most established gymnastics programs in Northern California, operating out of its Petaluma location on Payran Street since the gym’s founding. REG serves students of all ages from infancy through adulthood, with programs ranging from parent-participation classes for toddlers to advanced competitive team training for Junior Olympic athletes. The gym’s motto, “It’s not just gymnastics, it’s learning for a lifetime,” captures its approach to youth development through sport.

REG is a prominent member of the NorCal gymnastics community and regularly hosts major invitational meets including the annual Storybook Classic, which draws clubs from across Northern California. The gym’s optional and compulsory competitive teams compete at regional and state championships and regularly make the trip to national-level invitationals.

THE GYM

The Petaluma facility at 434 Payran Street, Suite D, is a fully equipped gymnastics center with state-of-the-art artistic equipment for girls’ gymnastics including vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor, and trampoline apparatus. The gym’s coaching staff brings high-level experience to the competitive program while maintaining a nurturing approach in recreational classes. REG is a USA Gymnastics member club and a recognized NorCal program with a long track record of developing athletes who compete at the state and regional level.

PROGRAMS

Tumblebugs and Preschool

The Tumblebugs program serves children ages one through six with age-appropriate gymnastics introduction, focusing on motor skill development, coordination, and foundational movement in a fun group setting.

Recreational Classes

Recreational gymnastics is available for students ages 6 through 18, with multiple skill levels to match each athlete’s current ability. Classes are structured to build progressively toward more advanced skills while keeping the experience enjoyable and positive.

Competitive Teams

REG’s competitive program includes both compulsory and optional teams competing at USAG Junior Olympic levels. Athletes progress through the program from developmental levels through Level 10. The gym also hosts the Storybook Classic each fall in Petaluma, one of the most popular NorCal invitational meets of the competitive season.

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
