OVERVIEW

San Francisco Gymnastics (SFG) opened in 2002 with a clear mission: provide a quality athletic experience with an emphasis on fun. Now operating from its permanent location in the Fillmore Center at 1405 Fillmore Street, SFG has become one of the most trusted gymnastics programs in San Francisco. The gym serves children and families across the city with recreational classes, competitive team training, birthday parties, and seasonal camps, all in a 7,000-square-foot facility in the heart of the Fillmore district.

SFG is a member of NorCal Gymnastics and USA Gymnastics, and its coaches bring extensive experience to both the recreational and competitive sides of the program. The gym’s Tumblebug pre-school program has become one of its most popular offerings, drawing young families who want a structured and engaging introduction to gymnastics for their children.

THE GYM

The Fillmore Center location provides 7,000 square feet of gymnastics space with close proximity to parking, public transit, and the Club One fitness center in the same complex. The facility is equipped for all levels of girls’ artistic gymnastics and supports the competitive program’s training needs. SFG has been recognized consistently as a family-friendly, high-quality program since its founding, with a loyal community of families who have followed the gym across its various locations over the years.

PROGRAMS

Tumblebug Program

The Tumblebug program is designed for preschool-aged children and introduces gymnastics fundamentals through age-appropriate activities that emphasize motor development, coordination, and fun. This program has been one of SFG’s signature offerings since the gym’s founding and continues to draw young families looking for an excellent introduction to gymnastics.

Recreational Classes

SFG offers gymnastics classes for all levels, from beginners through advanced recreational athletes. The curriculum is designed to be progressively challenging while keeping each student’s experience positive and rewarding. Boys’ and girls’ classes are available across age groups.

Competitive Teams

The competitive team program operates under USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic and Xcel frameworks. Athletes are developed through recreational class pathways and invited to join the team when they demonstrate readiness for competition. The team competes throughout the NorCal season.

Monday through Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Thursday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
