Top Flight Gymnastics

OVERVIEW

Top Flight Gymnastics has served California’s East Bay and surrounding communities since its founding in 1987, operating from its home at 5127 Mowry Avenue in Fremont. A family-owned facility with nearly four decades of history, Top Flight is distinguished by its status as a National Olympic Training Facility — a designation earned in connection with 2008 Olympic gymnast Kevin Tan, who trained at Top Flight and went on to represent the United States in Beijing. The gym’s mission is to provide a unique, friendly, and safe environment that cultivates each individual gymnast’s potential across all participation and skill levels.

Top Flight serves students of all ages with preschool classes, recreational gymnastics, developmental programs, competitive team, Ninja Zone, special education classes, adult gymnastics, and birthday parties. Its convenient location on the border of Fremont and Newark, with easy access from I-880, makes it an accessible destination for families throughout southern Alameda County.

THE GYM

The Mowry Avenue facility is fully equipped for boys’ and girls’ gymnastics with state-of-the-art pits and apparatus for all Olympic events. The gym’s coaching staff brings deep experience to recreational instruction and competitive team development alike, and the facility hosts birthday party events and seasonal camps throughout the year. Top Flight is a NorCal member club competing in the regional circuit with competitive teams for both boys and girls.

PROGRAMS

Preschool and Recreational Classes

Classes are available from preschool age through adulthood, with programs for Tiny Tots through advanced athletes. The curriculum covers all major gymnastics events and progresses through skill-based levels aligned with USA Gymnastics standards.

Competitive Team

Top Flight’s competitive team program is active in the NorCal circuit, building on a coaching tradition that produced a 2008 Olympic gymnast. The gym competes in both boys’ and girls’ artistic events at compulsory and optional levels.

Ninja Zone and Special Education

Ninja Zone classes bring parkour-inspired obstacle training to the gym alongside dedicated special education classes that make Top Flight one of the more inclusive gymnastics programs in the Fremont area.

Monday through Friday: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
