Baldy View Gymnastic Center

OVERVIEW

Baldy View Gymnastic Center has been Upland’s premier gymnastics instruction facility since 1977, making it one of the longest-continuously-operating gymnastics programs in the Inland Empire. Located at 916 Monte Vista Avenue in Upland — in the shadow of Mt. San Antonio (Mount Baldy), from which the gym takes its name — Baldy View is owned and led by Janine Bissonnette, a USA Gymnastics member and NAWGJ (National Association of Women’s Gymnastics Judges) member for over 39 years. Janine is Safety Certified, First Aid and CPR Certified, PDP Certified through USAG, Skill Evaluator Certified, Meet Director Certified, and a nationally rated judge — a depth of credentialing that reflects the quality and professionalism she brings to every class and competition.

Baldy View is a SoCal member club and USA Gymnastics member for over 32 years. The gym offers gymnastics classes for boys and girls from age two through adult, alongside cheerleading, dance, competitive team training, and special events for the whole family and community.

THE GYM

The Monte Vista Avenue facility is a welcoming, community-centered gymnastics center serving Upland, Claremont, Rancho Cucamonga, Montclair, and the surrounding foothill communities. Baldy View has been a member of both the Upland and Claremont Chambers of Commerce and is nationally accredited by USA Gymnastics. The gym’s long history, combined with Janine Bissonnette’s unparalleled individual credentials, makes Baldy View a unique and trusted resource for families seeking quality gymnastics instruction in the western Inland Empire.

PROGRAMS

Preschool and Recreational Gymnastics

Classes begin at age two and progress through recreational levels for boys and girls through the teen years. Adult gymnastics classes provide an option for parents and adult athletes, making Baldy View one of the few Inland Empire gyms to maintain an active adult program. All classes are small by design, ensuring individualized attention from an experienced coaching staff.

Cheerleading and Dance

Cheerleading and dance classes complement the gymnastics curriculum, providing additional performance and athletics pathways for students who want to expand their training beyond the gymnastics floor.

Competitive Team

The competitive team program competes in SoCal-sanctioned events at multiple levels. Janine’s experience as a nationally rated judge and meet director gives the team a deep understanding of what judges look for, providing a technical advantage in skill development and presentation.

Monday through Friday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Sunday: Closed
