San Diego Gymnastics & Parkour - Grossmont

OVERVIEW

San Diego Gymnastics & Parkour’s Grossmont location at 5500 Grossmont Center Drive in La Mesa serves the East County San Diego communities of La Mesa, El Cajon, Santee, Fletcher Hills, Spring Valley, and Lemon Grove. Located next to Walmart and the Verizon Store off the I-8 Freeway, the Grossmont facility brings SDG’s proven gymnastics and parkour programming to East County families — an area that historically had fewer dedicated gymnastics center options than the coastal or central San Diego communities.

Like all SDG locations, Grossmont is staffed by USAG-certified coaches, employs American Parkour Certified Instructors for its parkour and ninja curriculum, and maintains CPR/First Aid, SafeSport, and background check standards across all staff. All classes are structured for continuous enrollment, and the gym hosts birthday parties, Kids’ Night Out events, and seasonal camps throughout the year.

THE GYM

The Grossmont Center Drive facility is part of the Grossmont Center Shopping complex in La Mesa, providing an accessible and familiar destination for East County families. The facility features the full SDG equipment suite including gymnastics apparatus and purpose-built parkour and ninja obstacles. Parent seating, free WiFi, and air conditioning make the viewing experience comfortable for families during classes and events.

The full SDG programming menu is available at Grossmont: recreational gymnastics from walking age through 17, parkour and ninja from beginner through advanced levels, adaptive gymnastics, seasonal Parkour Camps, Kids’ Night Out, and birthday parties.
