Western Edge Gymnastics

OVERVIEW

Western Edge Gymnastics is located at 979 13th Avenue West in Dickinson, a USA Gymnastics member program serving the Badlands city and the surrounding communities of southwest North Dakota — including Stark County and the broader Bakken oil patch region — with recreational and competitive gymnastics classes for children ages 3 through 18. Dickinson is the fourth-largest city in North Dakota and the commercial hub of the state’s southwestern corner, home to Dickinson State University and strategically positioned near Theodore Roosevelt National Park along the I-94 corridor. Western Edge’s mission is to provide a safe, fun, and progressive gymnastics program that helps the youth of southwest North Dakota gain strength, flexibility, self-awareness, and self-esteem both inside and outside the gym. The 13th Avenue West address gives Dickinson’s family community a dedicated gymnastics option in a city that also fields one of North Dakota’s strongest high school gymnastics programs — Dickinson has won 10 consecutive North Dakota State Gymnastics team titles, a dynasty that reflects a deep gymnastics culture in the southwest part of the state that Western Edge serves at the club level.

Western Edge holds USA Gymnastics membership and follows the Safe Sport Policy, competing within the USAG upper Midwest region for competitive team athletes. The gym’s welcoming approach to new families and the southwest North Dakota community’s strong gymnastics identity make Western Edge the natural home gym for the region’s families who want club gymnastics alongside or in preparation for the state’s powerhouse high school program.

PROGRAMS

Recreational Gymnastics (Ages 3-18)

Western Edge Gymnastics offers recreational classes for girls and boys ages 3 through 18 at all skill levels, with a progressive curriculum designed for the southwest North Dakota community and a coaching culture that emphasizes safety, fun, and individual growth alongside skill development.

Competitive Team

The competitive team competes within the USAG upper Midwest region, giving Dickinson and Stark County athletes a club gymnastics pathway that complements the area’s legendary high school program tradition — one that has produced 10 consecutive North Dakota State team titles.
