OVERVIEW

Wings Gymnastics Academy at 5825 South Bahnson Avenue is the original and primary location of the Wings Gymnastics program — one of Sioux Falls’ most celebrated gymnastics and ninja training facilities with a second location on South Lorraine Place. Wings describes itself as a place where every child is seen and encouraged, excellence meets fun, community is everything, and growth happens both inside and out. The program’s focus extends from physical skills to building character and lasting friendships, with a mission to teach gymnastics in a fun and safe environment where every child can feel successful, build self-esteem, and gain confidence while learning through progressions. Wings’ approach is deliberately non-competitive in its recreational track — the gym wants kids to still be kids and leave sweating and smiling — while still offering a competitive team for athletes ready to advance. Wings holds USA Gymnastics membership and competes within the USAG upper Midwest region for competitive team athletes. THE GYM

The Wings Gymnastics Academy Bahnson Avenue facility is equipped for gymnastics, ninja fusion, preschool movement, tumbling, and the full recreational and competitive curriculum. The gym operates Monday through Thursday with morning sessions from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and afternoon/evening sessions from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Friday from 4:15 PM to 8:15 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM — seven days a week with a flexible schedule that accommodates a wide range of family enrollment patterns.

PROGRAMS

Preschool, Recreational Gymnastics, and Ninja Fusion

Wings offers preschool movement classes for the youngest participants, recreational gymnastics for all school-age athletes, and Ninja Fusion — a program combining gymnastics fundamentals with obstacle course and movement elements — giving Sioux Falls families one of the most diversely programmed recreational gymnastics options in the state.

Competitive Team, Summer Camps, and Birthday Parties

The Wings competitive team trains within the USAG upper Midwest structure. Summer camps, open gym, and birthday party packages round out the year-round programming calendar at the Bahnson Avenue location.
