Gold Medal Gymnastics

OVERVIEW

Gold Medal Gymnastics is located at 505 Main Avenue in Brookings, a USA Gymnastics member program serving Brookings — home to South Dakota State University and a city of around 25,000 on the eastern edge of South Dakota — with recreational and competitive gymnastics for children of all ages and skill levels. Established in 1999, the gym has been the primary gymnastics destination for Brookings and the surrounding communities of Volga, Castlewood, Arlington, and the rural Lake County and Brookings County agricultural communities for over 25 years. The Main Avenue address in the heart of Brookings gives SDSU student families, faculty, and the broader Brookings community convenient access to a community gymnastics program that serves as the de facto home gym for the region east of Sioux Falls in Brookings County. Gold Medal competes within the USAG upper Midwest region and follows the spring session enrollment calendar with registration opening in December.

Families are encouraged to visit goldmedalgymsd.com for current class schedules and registration information, as the gym operates on a session-based enrollment model with spring sessions running from January through May and summer and fall sessions scheduled on a separate calendar.

THE GYM

The Gold Medal Gymnastics facility at 505 Main Avenue, Unit 1 is equipped for recreational and competitive gymnastics for children across all age groups and skill levels. The gym employs approximately 12 staff members serving the Brookings community in its 25-plus years of operation under USA Gymnastics membership.

Recreational and Competitive Gymnastics

Gold Medal offers recreational gymnastics classes for all ages from beginner through advanced levels, with a competitive team that trains within the USAG upper Midwest structure and competes throughout the South Dakota and upper Midwest regional circuit.
