River City Gymnastics and Cheer

OVERVIEW

River City Gymnastics and Cheer is located at 2101 Broadway Avenue in Yankton, the premier youth gymnastics and cheer program for the Yankton community and the surrounding southeast South Dakota region along the Missouri River. Yankton is a historic river city of around 15,000 on the Nebraska border, the first territorial capital of Dakota Territory and home to a proud civic culture that has sustained River City Gymnastics as the primary gymnastics destination for Bon Homme, Clay, and Yankton County families for many years. The gym’s mission is to provide a fun, safe, and challenging environment for young gymnasts to develop their skills and build confidence through both recreational participation and competitive athletics. RCG serves children of all ages and skill levels with recreational and competition gymnastics and cheer under a team of experienced coaches who provide personalized training and guidance tailored to each child’s developmental pace and athletic goals.

River City Gymnastics holds USA Gymnastics membership and competes within the USAG upper Midwest region, giving Yankton athletes a competitive gymnastics and cheer pathway in southeast South Dakota without the drive to Sioux Falls. THE GYM

The River City Gymnastics and Cheer facility at 2101 Broadway Avenue is equipped for recreational and competitive gymnastics and cheer, with private lessons available for athletes seeking additional individual coaching time alongside their regular class schedule. The coaching staff delivers personalized training in a safe and supportive environment designed to build physical strength, agility, and confidence in every participant.

Recreational Gymnastics and Cheer

RCG offers recreational gymnastics and cheerleading for children of all ages and skill levels, with a fun, safe, and challenging class environment that serves both the child who wants to learn gymnastics basics and the athlete building toward the competitive program.

Competitive Team

The competitive team trains within the USAG upper Midwest structure, giving Yankton and southeast South Dakota athletes a competitive gymnastics and cheer pathway close to home in the Missouri River region.
