Spearfish Gymnastics Academy

OVERVIEW

Spearfish Gymnastics Academy is located at 606 29th Street in Spearfish, the primary gymnastics program for the northern Black Hills community serving Spearfish, Lead, Deadwood, Belle Fourche, and the surrounding Lawrence County communities along the I-90 corridor at the base of the Black Hills. Spearfish is a city of around 12,000 at the northern gateway of the Black Hills, home to Black Hills State University and a growing family population that has expanded with the region’s tourism, healthcare, and technology economy. The 29th Street address gives families in the north Black Hills a dedicated gymnastics program without the drive to Rapid City, with USAG membership and competition within the upper Midwest region for competitive team athletes. SGA hosts team camps for competitive gymnasts visiting or training in the Spearfish area, giving the gym a role beyond its local enrollment base as a training destination for teams from across the region who travel to the Black Hills area for competitive preparation.
