Diamond Elite Gymnastics

OVERVIEW

Diamond Elite Gymnastics is a privately owned gymnastics and cheer facility in Cheyenne, founded in May 2023 by co-owners Heather Kittelson and Alexa Pushcar. The gym grew rapidly after opening and relocated in early 2025 to a new 16,700-square-foot facility at 6725 Faith Drive — nearly double the size of its original location. Diamond Elite has established itself as a distinct option in the Cheyenne gymnastics community, competing under the USAIGC (USA Independent Gymnastics Clubs) program rather than the USAG structure.

The gym’s founding philosophy centers on creating a healthy, positive competitive environment where athletes feel encouraged and connected to a second family. With a competition team of over 50 athletes, Diamond Elite has quickly grown into a competitive presence both locally and at national-level USAIGC meets.

THE GYM

The current 16,700-square-foot facility provides ample floor space for vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise training. The gym also houses a cheer and dance program that launched alongside the move to the new facility. Co-owner Pushcar competed in gymnastics for 13 years as a seven-time state champion, and co-owner Kittelson has been coaching for approximately 20 years, bringing a combined depth of competitive and coaching experience to every class.

Diamond Elite takes a team-first approach to the competitive program, with parents and athletes describing the gym as community-oriented and family-focused. Recreational classes serve children from 18 months through adults, while the competitive program starts at age 5.

PROGRAMS

Recreational Gymnastics (Ages 18 Months–Adult)

Recreational classes are offered for all ages and skill levels, covering the fundamentals of gymnastics through advanced recreational skills on all four apparatus. Adult tumbling events are also hosted at the facility.

Competitive Gymnastics (USAIGC)

Diamond Elite’s competitive program competes under USAIGC, which uses different requirements and structure from USAG. The competition team includes multiple levels and has competed at meets in Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, California, and Pennsylvania.

Cheer and Dance

A cheer and dance program launched in 2025 alongside the gym’s move to its new facility, serving athletes who want to combine gymnastics foundations with performance and team-based training.

Birthday Parties

Diamond Elite hosts gymnastics-themed birthday parties for youth groups in the facility.
