OVERVIEW

Magic City Gymnastics at Rimrock Mall in Billings is a family gymnastics center at 300 South 24th Street West, led by owners Ryan and Darcey Frewin and founded with the mission of helping children love movement and live healthy, happy lives. Magic City’s name celebrates Billings’ longstanding nickname — the Magic City, earned for the astonishing speed at which the city grew after the Northern Pacific Railroad arrived in 1882 — and the gym brings the same spirit of energy and growth to everything it does. From the youngest toddler class to the oldest gymnastics student, MCG’s goal is to develop healthy, happy, and productive children by providing a friendly atmosphere, fantastic coaches, and positive opportunities for growth and development across gymnastics, ninja warrior, tumbling, and the competitive team. MCG’s core philosophy is that gymnastics develops not just physical skills but the life qualities — mental focus, complete dedication, and personal resilience — that define successful people in every arena.

Magic City Gymnastics is a USAG Montana member club. In addition to its gymnastics and ninja programs, MCG offers summer camps, clinics, birthday parties, and open gym sessions, making it a year-round community activity hub for Billings families. The gym’s convenient Rimrock Mall location provides easy parking and visibility in the heart of Billings’ commercial center.

PROGRAMS

Preschool and Tiny Tots Gymnastics

Classes for toddlers and preschoolers introduce children to gymnastics fundamentals in an age-appropriate, encouraging environment. The Tiny Tots class has drawn particular praise from parents who describe watching 18-month-olds progress rapidly through early gymnastics skills in a warm, patient, and enthusiastic coaching environment.

Recreational Gymnastics (Girls and Boys)

Girls’ and boys’ recreational classes advance through USAG skill progressions covering all major gymnastics events, with small class sizes ensuring that every student receives genuine individual attention and coaching feedback in each session.

Ninja Warrior

MCG’s ninja warrior classes provide a high-energy obstacle course experience for children seeking an athletic challenge beyond the standard gymnastics curriculum. The gym’s ninja program has been praised by parents as a standout offering that keeps children engaged, active, and genuinely excited about coming to the gym each week.
