Mismo Gymnastics

OVERVIEW

Mismo Gymnastics at 2430 Benton Ave in Missoula has been teaching kids flexibility inside and outside the gym since its founding in 2001, providing the Garden City community with over two decades of gymnastics instruction rooted in the belief that healthy, well-rounded kids are built through a passion for exercise. Mismo — whose name evokes the idea of doing things yourself, on your own terms — offers high-energy gymnastics, dance, ninja warrior, and tumbling classes that promote flexibility, stamina, and cooperation in a fun, structured environment. The gym serves families across Missoula, the Rattlesnake, Hellgate, and University districts with a full-year programming calendar including classes, summer camps, birthday parties, and open gym. Mismo is particularly praised by parents for the quality of its competitive gymnastics program and the genuine investment its coaches make in the development of each individual athlete.

Mismo Gymnastics is a USAG Montana member club. The gym’s competitive program operates at the state and regional levels, with coaching staff dedicated to developing athletes who understand that excellence in gymnastics, as in life, is built through consistent hard work, a positive mindset, and genuine care for each person’s individual potential.

PROGRAMS

Preschool and Little Giz Gymnastics

The Little Giz program and preschool classes introduce Missoula’s youngest gymnasts to the sport through age-appropriate, fun, and structured movement activities. Classes develop coordination, social skills, and early gymnastics fundamentals in a warm and encouraging environment.

Recreational Gymnastics (Girls and Boys)

Classes for girls and boys advance through USAG skill progressions from beginner through advanced recreational levels, with an emphasis on proper form, progressive skill development, and a genuinely fun class experience at every level.

Dance, Ninja Warrior, and Tumbling

Mismo’s multi-discipline programming offers dance, ninja warrior, and tumbling classes alongside the core gymnastics curriculum, providing Missoula families with a comprehensive range of movement arts options within one welcoming facility.

Competitive Team

Mismo’s competitive program has received consistent praise from families for the quality of its coaching and the genuine investment staff make in each athlete’s development. The team competes in USAG Montana-sanctioned events at the state and regional levels.
