OVERVIEW

Azarian Gymnastics in Aliso Viejo is Orange County’s premier gymnastics training facility, founded by Eduard Azarian — a World Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist in gymnastics — and established in 2005. Located at 1 Argonaut in Aliso Viejo, the gym serves boys and girls from preschool age through the elite competitive level, bringing a world-championship coaching pedigree to every class from the youngest beginners to the most advanced competitors. The name Azarian is synonymous with excellence in the history of gymnastics, and the Aliso Viejo facility carries that legacy into the day-to-day experience of every student who trains here.

Azarian Gymnastics is a SoCal member club and USA Gymnastics member. The gym is fully equipped with the latest training apparatus for both boys’ and girls’ programs, offers Open Gym sessions, Parents’ Night Out events, and birthday parties, and serves the communities of Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Lake Forest, and all of South Orange County. The gym offers a free trial class for new students.

THE GYM

The Argonaut facility in Aliso Viejo is a spacious, state-of-the-art gymnastics center described by families as huge, clean, organized, and welcoming. Multiple class groups can train simultaneously with ample room to spare. Parking can be tight at peak times due to the gym’s popularity. Open Gym sessions on Tuesday and Friday mornings provide a supervised free-play opportunity for children aged 6 months through 5 years at $5 per child. Weekend birthday party packages include pit play, trampoline time, obstacle courses, and tumble track sessions led by energetic staff, followed by refreshments and cake in a private party space.

PROGRAMS

Early Years and Preschool Gymnastics

Parent-child Open Gym classes begin at 6 months, with structured preschool gymnastics classes available from approximately age 2. These earliest classes are designed to develop motor skills, coordination, spatial awareness, and social skills in a fun, age-appropriate gymnastics environment guided by experienced coaches.

Recreational Gymnastics

Girls’ and boys’ recreational programs are offered at multiple levels for students of all ages and experience levels. The coaching staff’s emphasis on proper progressions, technique, and safety reflects the Azarian philosophy that every child deserves the same quality instruction regardless of ability, and should feel genuinely special at every class.

Competitive Team

The Azarian competitive program spans from pre-team through the elite Junior Olympic level for both girls and boys. Coaches with national and Olympic-level backgrounds guide athletes through a program that has produced high-level competitors throughout Southern California. Team placement is by coach recommendation and evaluation.
