National Gymnastics Training Center

OVERVIEW

National Gymnastics Training Center (NGTC) has been serving the Aliso Viejo and greater Orange County community since its founding in 1990. Located at 4 Journey in Aliso Viejo, NGTC provides top-quality gymnastics, tumbling, and trampoline instruction for children of all levels and abilities, with a core mission of encouraging participation and the pursuit of excellence in every aspect of the program. With more than 30 years of continuous operation in South Orange County, NGTC is one of the area’s most established and trusted gymnastics institutions.

NGTC is a SoCal member club and USA Gymnastics member. The gym is home to the National Gymnastics Competitive Team, the National Shooting Stars team, the National All-Stars Cheer team, and Sweet Peas Educational Gymnastics, its early childhood program. A boutique selling leotards, scrunchies, backpacks, and accessories is available on-site at reasonable prices. Coaches with national and Olympic-level backgrounds bring exceptional technical knowledge to all levels of the program.

THE GYM

The Journey facility in Aliso Viejo features a spacious Olympic gymnastics room equipped with top-notch apparatus for all disciplines including gymnastics, dance, and taekwondo. The gym is praised by families for its welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere and the attentive care its coaching staff provides to every student. A comfortable waiting area with tables and chairs allows parents to relax while children train. Birthday parties and Open Gym events are offered throughout the year, making NGTC a hub for youth gymnastics and family activity in South OC.

PROGRAMS

Sweet Peas Educational Gymnastics

Sweet Peas is NGTC’s early childhood gymnastics program designed for the youngest students, providing an age-appropriate, movement-based introduction to gymnastics fundamentals in a safe, encouraging environment.

Recreational Gymnastics and Tumbling

Recreational classes serve boys and girls from preschool through the teen years at progressive skill levels. Tumbling and trampoline classes provide complementary skills for athletes interested in developing floor and aerial work outside the full gymnastics program.

Competitive Teams

NGTC fields the National Gymnastics Competitive Team, the National Shooting Stars competitive trampoline team, and the National All-Stars Cheer team. The competitive gymnastics program competes in SoCal-sanctioned Junior Olympic and Xcel events, with coaches whose credentials include national and Olympic-level backgrounds providing a high level of technical instruction.
