OVERVIEW

Kips Gymnastics in Corona has been teaching quality gymnastics to children since its founding in 1966, making it one of the oldest continuously operating gymnastics programs in Southern California — the second oldest in the region. Located at 145 Radio Road in Corona, Kips serves students ages 18 months through young adult with preschool gymnastics, recreational academy programs, a competitive team, birthday parties, Parent’s Night Out events, and themed seasonal camps. The gym’s core philosophy has remained constant across nearly six decades: safety first, fun second, and quality gymnastics third — with coaches trained from the first class to teach proper form, the correct start and finish of each skill, and safe progressions throughout every level.

Kips Gymnastics is a SoCal member club and USA Gymnastics member. At its peak, the gym has taught gymnastics to more than 1,500 students weekly across its programs. The Corona location carries the full Kips tradition, combining the program’s storied 58-year history with a modern, active competitive team program and a vibrant schedule of recreational and community events.

THE GYM

The Radio Road facility is Kips’ active Corona location, offering the full Kips gymnastics curriculum and competitive program in a well-maintained setting. The gym provides training in vault, pommel horse, rings, floor exercises, horizontal and parallel bars, balance beam, tumbling, and trampoline, as well as obstacle courses and parachute activities for the youngest students. The facility hosts its own events and competitions and maintains an active Parent’s Night Out and camps calendar throughout the year.

PROGRAMS

Preschool and Academy Gymnastics

Classes begin at 18 months with preschool gymnastics, advancing through academy levels for girls and boys through the young adult years. The Kips curriculum is progressive and skill-based, with coaches emphasizing the correct start and finish position for every skill from the earliest classes — a technical discipline that reflects the program’s 58-year tradition.

Competitive Team

The Kips competitive team competes in SoCal-sanctioned events, drawing on the program’s decades-deep coaching knowledge to develop athletes at multiple Junior Olympic and Xcel levels.

Birthday Parties and Special Events

Gymnastics-themed birthday parties with trampoline, beam, obstacle courses, and pit play are available for kids ages 4 and up. Parent’s Night Out and seasonal themed camps round out Kips’ community events calendar throughout the year.
