Gold Country Gymnastics

OVERVIEW

Gold Country Gymnastics is the community’s premier youth athletics center in Grass Valley, serving Nevada County with classes for children from 6 weeks old through 18 years. Located at 900 Golden Gate Terrace, the gym has earned recognition as Nevada County’s top youth sports destination and is dedicated to teaching children coordination, self-confidence, discipline, and valuable life lessons through safe, professional, high-quality gymnastics instruction. The staff’s commitment to creating joyful experiences for every child reflects the gym’s belief in gymnastics as a vehicle for lifelong development.

Gold Country Gymnastics offers a wide range of programming including competitive gymnastics, recreational classes, open gym sessions, birthday parties, and Kids Night Out events. The gym also operates Gold Country Gymnastics and Cheer as a combined program, serving both gymnastics athletes and cheer students throughout the year.

THE GYM

The 900 Golden Gate Terrace facility in Grass Valley provides a large, well-equipped gymnastics training environment that has been praised by gym owners and coaches visiting from outside the region as an impressive facility. Equipment is in excellent condition and the open layout makes it a pleasure to train in. The gym is a NorCal member and competes in the regional gymnastics circuit with both recreational and competitive offerings.

PROGRAMS

Infant and Toddler Classes

Gold Country Gymnastics is one of the few gyms in the Sierra foothills region offering gymnastics starting at just six weeks old, with structured parent-participation classes designed for the youngest children and focused on sensory development and early movement exploration.

Recreational Classes

Classes progress through skill-based levels for all school-age athletes, with instruction on vault, bars, beam, floor, and trampoline. Open gym sessions are available on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for drop-in practice at a low per-session cost.

Competitive Team

The competitive team competes at NorCal-sanctioned events throughout the region, with athletes advancing from developmental levels through the Junior Olympic and Xcel programs. Parents Night Out and Kids Night Out events are regular community offerings.
