Olympica Gymnastics Academy

OVERVIEW

Olympica Gymnastics Academy has been South Orange County’s premier gymnastics facility since its founding in 1992, operating from a fully air-conditioned 16,000-square-foot facility at 26601 Cabot Road in Laguna Hills. Family owned, operated, and oriented for over three decades, Olympica serves more than 2,000 families annually with over 120 different classes and programs, and employs a staff of more than 35 coaches and instructors. The gym has garnered hundreds of State and Regional Champion titles over its history, and was voted Best Competitive Gymnastics Class in Parenting OC’s Readers’ Choice Awards — a reflection of the community trust and competitive excellence it has built across more than 30 years of uninterrupted operation.

Olympica is a SoCal member club and USA Gymnastics member. Its convenient location — visible from the 5 freeway and minutes from the 73 — was deliberately selected to be the most accessible gym for the majority of families in South Orange County, serving Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Lake Forest, San Juan Capistrano, and all of South OC. The gym hosts its own annual invitational, the Pacific Classic.

THE GYM

The 16,000-square-foot Cabot Road facility was designed and built from the foundation up as a purpose-built gymnastics center, incorporating the most modern safety equipment, including bungee harnesses, European-designed landing pits, and state-of-the-art apparatus. A viewing balcony above the gym floor gives parents an excellent sightline throughout every class and practice. The gym is fully air-conditioned, making it a comfortable training environment year-round. The facility accommodates all of Olympica’s 120+ classes across tots, recreational, pre-team, and team programs simultaneously.

PROGRAMS

Tots (Mighty Mites)

The Mighty Mites program serves co-ed students ages 3 through 5 with 60-minute classes available Monday through Friday afternoons. Early gymnastics education focuses on movement development, coordination, and building the foundations of the sport in a fun, age-appropriate environment.

Recreational and Academy Programs

Olympica’s recreational program spans a wide range of levels for students from kindergarten through the teen years. Junior Academy and Academy programs serve students showing accelerated progress and provide a structured bridge to the competitive team. Tumbling and cheer-oriented classes are also available for students pursuing those disciplines.

Competitive Team

Olympica’s competitive team has earned hundreds of State and Regional Champion titles across more than three decades of competition. The program competes in SoCal-sanctioned Junior Olympic and Xcel events. The gym also hosts the annual Pacific Classic invitational, which draws competitive teams from across Southern California.
