Profile
OVERVIEW
Inland Empire Gymnastics Academy (IEGA) has been the San Bernardino Valley’s premier gymnastics school since 2004, operating from a 13,000-square-foot facility at 263 West Orange Show Lane in San Bernardino. IEGA’s mission is simple and enduring: to help grow happy, healthy, responsible kids and young adults. To achieve that mission, the gym is committed to providing a safe, fun, and healthy gymnastics experience for every student; offering high-quality instruction in small class settings that challenge and support each athlete to be their best; and developing a passionate, well-trained staff who actively participate in the growth of the young people they serve.
IEGA is a SoCal member club and USA Gymnastics Safe Sport certified facility. All staff members have USAG Professional or Instructor memberships with biennial background checks, are Safety and SafeSport Certified, are additionally fingerprinted at hire, and hold Red Cross First Aid and CPR certifications — a set of credentials that reflects IEGA’s non-negotiable commitment to child safety and professional standards.
THE GYM
The 13,000-square-foot Orange Show Lane facility is a clean, organized gymnastics center in central San Bernardino, consistently recognized for its welcoming atmosphere and the genuine care its coaching staff has for every student. The gym’s small class sizes ensure individualized attention for each child — a deliberate choice that distinguishes IEGA from larger, less personal programs. Parents receive regular updates via flyers and text messages, and the gym’s transparent communication style has built a strong, trusting relationship with the families it serves.
PROGRAMS
Tumble Kids and Preschool Gymnastics
The Tumble Kids program introduces the youngest students to gymnastics through age-appropriate movement activities that build motor skills, social development, and listening skills. Preschool classes progress through the foundational gymnastics curriculum for children through kindergarten age, building the athletic base for the recreational program.
Recreational Gymnastics
Girls’ and boys’ recreational classes are available at multiple levels, covering all major gymnastics events in small class groups with dedicated, certified coaching staff. Students advance through the curriculum based on skill mastery rather than age, ensuring each child is appropriately placed and challenged throughout their time at IEGA.
Competitive Team and Club Cheer
The competitive team program competes in SoCal-sanctioned events, providing structured team training for athletes invited by coaching staff evaluation. A Club Cheer program provides a parallel performance and team activity pathway alongside the gymnastics competitive program.
