SoCal Gymnastics Training Center

OVERVIEW

SoCal Gymnastics Training Center is a well-established gymnastics program in San Marcos serving families throughout North San Diego County with recreational and competitive gymnastics for girls and boys. Located at 1740 La Costa Meadows Drive, the nearly 12,000-square-foot facility is equipped with both men’s and women’s Olympic gymnastics apparatus and provides a comprehensive training environment for all skill levels. The gym’s mission is to promote safety at all times while providing high-quality programs in a comfortable, clean, and safe environment for gymnasts and parents alike.

SoCal GTC is a SoCal member club and USA Gymnastics member, competing in the regional circuit with compulsory and optional competitive teams alongside a full slate of recreational classes, preschool programming, birthday parties, and seasonal camps.

THE GYM

The La Costa Meadows Drive facility features two 42-by-42-foot spring floors, a vault table, uneven parallel bars, balance beams, a rod tumble strip, a tumble track, rings, parallel bars, pommel mushrooms, a pommel horse, and an above-ground safety pit. The preschool area is equipped with scaled-down versions of the bars, rings, and other apparatus sized for smaller hands. The facility is praised by families for its cleanliness, organization, and genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

PROGRAMS

Preschool and Recreational Classes

Classes are available for children from preschool age through teens at multiple skill levels, with boys’ and girls’ class tracks offered separately. Preschool equipment scaled for small hands makes the earliest classes particularly appropriate for the youngest students. Birthday parties and seasonal camps are offered throughout the year.

Competitive Teams (Compulsory and Optional)

SoCal GTC fields both compulsory and optional competitive teams, providing a complete Junior Olympic pathway from beginner competitive levels through Level 10. The gym also fields Xcel teams as an alternative competitive pathway for athletes who thrive in that format.

Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
