OVERVIEW

TRC Gymnastics — The Rolling Company — has been providing outstanding gymnastics instruction in San Diego’s coastal communities since its founding in 1992. The Solana Beach location at 722 Genevieve Street serves as the original home of the program, founded on the philosophy of educating children about their physical potential through the comprehensive motor-skill development that is uniquely contained in the lessons of basic gymnastics. Running, jumping, climbing, hanging, swinging, skipping, crawling, rolling, flexibility, and strength training are all part of the daily curriculum at TRC — a skill set that coaches believe provides a foundation for lifelong athletic success.

TRC Gymnastics operates two locations — Solana Beach and a second facility in San Diego’s Sorrento Mesa area (TRC South) — and is a SoCal member club and USA Gymnastics member. All coaches are USA Gymnastics certified, and the gym has maintained its reputation for professional, consistent instruction and a genuinely positive coaching environment for over three decades.

THE GYM

The Genevieve Street facility is a dedicated gymnastics center in the heart of Solana Beach, serving Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Cardiff, Encinitas, and the broader North San Diego County coastal communities. The gym offers Preschool Open Gymnastics on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM as a drop-in option for preschool families. Birthday parties, seasonal camps, and the annual Rumble gymnastics event are hosted throughout the year. Private lessons are available upon request.

PROGRAMS

Preschool and Kindergym Classes

Kindergym classes serve children ages three through five with structured, age-appropriate gymnastics instruction covering motor skill development, flexibility, and coordination. Preschool Open Gymnastics provides a parent-and-child exploration session during the week for the youngest families.

Girls Gymnastics and Boys Gymnastics

Girls’ gymnastics classes cover all four Olympic events for participants ages 6 through 13, with progressive skill-based levels. Boys’ gymnastics instruction provides parallel programming with appropriate events for the men’s gymnastics curriculum. A co-ed tumbling and cheer complement rounds out the class offerings.

Competitive Team

The TRC competitive team trains at the Sorrento Mesa location (TRC South) and competes in SoCal-sanctioned events. Team placement is by invitation after demonstrating the required strength, flexibility, skills, and coachability in recreational classes.

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
