Gymtowne Gymnastics

OVERVIEW

Gymtowne Gymnastics is a well-established South San Francisco gymnastics program that has been part of the Bay Area gymnastics community for decades. Located at 375 Shaw Road in South San Francisco, Gymtowne serves the Peninsula communities of South San Francisco, Daly City, San Bruno, Millbrae, and beyond with recreational and competitive gymnastics for children of all ages. The gym is a NorCal member club and USA Gymnastics member, fielding competitive teams in the Junior Olympic and Xcel programs throughout the regional season.

Gymtowne’s central Peninsula location makes it a convenient choice for families in San Mateo County and the southern San Francisco neighborhoods, and its long track record in the community has made it a trusted destination for families looking for quality gymnastics instruction close to home.

THE GYM

The Shaw Road facility in South San Francisco’s industrial district is fully equipped with women’s artistic gymnastics apparatus, foam pits, and the training infrastructure needed to support both recreational and competitive programs. Gymtowne’s coaching staff is experienced in both recreational instruction and competitive team development, and the gym maintains its USA Gymnastics memberships and SafeSport requirements throughout the season.

PROGRAMS

Preschool and Recreational Gymnastics

Gymtowne offers preschool gymnastics classes for young children alongside a full range of recreational classes for school-age students at multiple skill levels. Boys’ and girls’ class tracks are offered separately, and students progress through the curriculum at their own pace with guidance from certified coaching staff.

Competitive Team

The competitive team program competes in NorCal Junior Olympic and Xcel events throughout the regional season. Athletes are placed on the team by coach recommendation or invitation following evaluation, and the program fields teams at multiple levels each season.
