Pacific West Gymnastics - Union City

OVERVIEW

Pacific West Gymnastics is a Bay Area gymnastics program with two locations in the East Bay’s Tri-City area — Union City and Fremont — serving families with preschool gymnastics, girls’ and boys’ recreational classes, tumbling and trampoline, girls’ competitive team programs, birthday parties, and seasonal camps. Founded with a mission where smiles meet the art of motion and fun blends with learning, Pacific West has built a strong reputation throughout the Union City, Fremont, and Newark communities for its welcoming environment, clean facilities, and quality instruction.

The Union City location at 32920 Alvarado-Niles Road serves as the flagship facility and home of the competitive team program, featuring equipment for all women’s artistic events and two in-ground foam pits and a 40-foot Tumble-Track. Pacific West is a USA Gymnastics member club competing in the NorCal circuit at compulsory, optional, Xcel, and TOPs levels.

THE GYM

Located near the US Post Office and Cesar Chavez Middle School on Alvarado-Niles Road, the Union City gym is fully equipped for women’s artistic gymnastics and supports the competitive team program. The facility hosts birthday parties and seasonal camps in addition to the regular class schedule, and free tours are available for interested families to visit before enrolling. Pacific West optional team gymnasts have won multiple state, regional, and national titles, and several Level 10 athletes have gone on to earn NCAA Division I gymnastics scholarships.

PROGRAMS

Mini Tots and Preschool Classes

Mini Tots classes serve toddlers and preschool-age children with age-appropriate gymnastics introduction. The curriculum builds motor skills, flexibility, and body awareness in a nurturing, parent-friendly environment.

Recreational Gymnastics and Tumbling

Girls’ and boys’ recreational classes are available at multiple levels, with separate class tracks for each. Co-ed tumbling and trampoline classes provide a high-energy complement to traditional gymnastics instruction.

Competitive Team

Pacific West’s competitive team competes at Developmental, Compulsory (Levels 3-5), Optional (Levels 6-10), Xcel, and TOPs levels. The program has a long track record of producing state champions and national-level athletes, with multiple Level 10 athletes earning college scholarships.

Monday through Thursday: 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
