Profile
OVERVIEW
Golden Triangle Gymnastics in Great Falls is one of Montana’s most ambitious gymnastics facilities, operating from a newly renovated 32,000-square-foot building at 801 River Dr Sreet North — a large-scale project that created a 42-by-42-foot gymnastics floor with 21-foot ceilings and an in-ground pit training system inside a repurposed industrial building near the Mighty Missouri River. The gym takes its name from the Golden Triangle — the fertile agricultural region of North Central Montana between Great Falls, Cut Bank, and Havre, named for its golden wheat fields and historically one of the most productive grain-growing areas in the world. Golden Triangle offers gymnastics, ninja obstacle training, parkour, dance, aerial silks, and a movement-based academic early learning program across both its Great Falls and Conrad locations, providing families across the Hi-Line with a remarkably comprehensive youth athletics and arts program for a region of Montana that historically had limited access to these offerings.
Golden Triangle Gymnastics is a USAG Montana member club. The gym’s Great Falls facility also serves as the Great Falls location for the USAG-sanctioned competitive team, with the organization’s Conrad location at 324 South Front Street providing the same programming to the smaller Hi-Line community. The gym’s pro shop serves the equipment and apparel needs of competitive and recreational gymnasts across the region.
THE GYM
The 32,000-square-foot Great Falls facility is one of Montana’s most extensively built gymnastics centers, featuring a competition-spec spring floor, an in-ground pit, 21-foot ceilings, and the full complement of Olympic gymnastics apparatus for both developmental and competitive programs. The building’s proximity to the Missouri River and the challenges of the renovation — including groundwater management due to the riverside location — made it a one-of-a-kind construction project for Great Falls, resulting in a purpose-built gymnastics training environment that serves the entire north central Montana gymnastics community.
PROGRAMS
Preschool Movement and Academic Early Learning
Golden Triangle’s movement-based academic early learning program integrates gymnastics and physical activity into the early childhood curriculum, providing a distinctive educational option for Great Falls families seeking an active learning environment for their youngest children.
Recreational Gymnastics (Ages 18 Months–18 Years)
Classes for girls and boys from 18 months through 18 years follow USAG progressions across multiple recreational levels, with an emphasis on building skills, confidence, and love of movement in a fun and engaging coaching environment.
Ninja, Parkour, Dance, and Aerial Silks
Golden Triangle’s multi-discipline programming extends well beyond gymnastics, offering ninja obstacle training, parkour, dance, and aerial silks classes that make the gym one of the most diverse movement arts facilities in Montana. The Extreme Gym program provides an additional high-energy option for students seeking challenge beyond the standard gymnastics track.
Competitive Team
The Golden Triangle competitive team competes in USAG Montana-sanctioned events from both the Great Falls and Conrad locations, developing athletes through the developmental and Xcel competitive pathways at the state and regional levels.
