Gymnastics Plus

OVERVIEW

Gymnastics Plus is a competitive and recreational gymnastics program operating within the Boys and Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon in Coos Bay, serving the south Oregon coast with quality gymnastics instruction for children of various ages and skill levels. A USAG member club led by coaches Roy Lans, Myndee Sickels Brown, and Kimmy McCready, Gymnastics Plus has built a strong competitive program within a community-centered Boys and Girls Club setting, producing optional-level athletes who compete at state and regional meets throughout the Oregon gymnastics season.

Gymnastics Plus reflects the best of community-based gymnastics programming a competitive team that trains hard and produces strong athletes, embedded within the broader Boys and Girls Club mission of building great futures for young people on the south Oregon coast. THE GYM

Gymnastics Plus operates within the Boys and Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon at 3333 Walnut Avenue in Coos Bay, Oregon, providing south coast families with access to a gymnastics program that combines community club accessibility with competitive gymnastics quality. A Boys and Girls Club annual membership is required for registration, making Gymnastics Plus one of the most affordable competitive gymnastics programs available on the Oregon coast.

The facility hosts both home competitions and regular class programming throughout the year, including the annual Tumble by the Bay home meet which draws regional competitive gymnastics programs to Coos Bay each season. PROGRAMS AT THE GYM

Recreational Gymnastics

Gymnastics Plus offers recreational gymnastics classes for children of various ages including a Mom and Me class for children ages 2 and 3 on Wednesdays. Classes are structured to develop foundational gymnastics skills and confidence in a welcoming and community-centered environment accessible to all south coast families through the Boys and Girls Club.

Competitive Team
