Rapid City Gymnastics Academy

OVERVIEW

Rapid City Gymnastics Academy is located at 2025 Samco Road in Rapid City, a gymnastics program with a mission to promote quality gymnastics and physical fitness instruction in a safe and positive environment. The gym believes gymnastics provides children with coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, and social group interaction at a competitive price — making quality gymnastics accessible to the full economic range of Rapid City’s family community in the Black Hills gateway city of over 80,000 that serves as the tourism and commercial hub of western South Dakota. RCGA’s Samco Road address gives families throughout west Rapid City and the surrounding communities of Box Elder, Piedmont, and the Black Hills communities convenient access to a full recreational and competitive gymnastics program that strives to make every child feel confident and comfortable in meeting their goals.

RCGA offers both a competitive gymnastics track for athletes who want to pursue USAG Junior Olympic competition and a recreational program for those who want to improve physical skills without competitive pressure — a dual-track structure that serves both the serious gymnastics family and the child who just wants to stay active, build strength, and have fun in a structured environment. The Samco Road location in west Rapid City is easily accessible from the US-16 and I-90 corridors that connect Rapid City to the surrounding Black Hills communities.

THE GYM

The Rapid City Gymnastics Academy facility at 2025 Samco Road is equipped for recreational and competitive gymnastics with birthday parties available for booking throughout the year. The gym operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with current class schedules and registration information available at rapidcitygymnastics.com or by calling (605) 791-2151.

PROGRAMS

Recreational Gymnastics

RCGA offers recreational gymnastics for children from the youngest beginners through advanced levels, with a progressive curriculum that develops coordination, balance, strength, and flexibility in a safe, fun environment that serves families across the full price accessibility range in the Rapid City metro.

Competitive Team and Birthday Parties

The competitive team competes within the USAG upper Midwest region at Junior Olympic levels, giving Rapid City and Black Hills athletes a competitive gymnastics pathway in western South Dakota. Birthday parties at the Samco Road facility give local families an active celebration option.
