Profile
OVERVIEW
Bainbridge Island Gymnastics is the gymnastics program operated by the Bainbridge Island Metro Park and Recreation District, serving the Bainbridge Island community with recreational and competitive gymnastics programming for children of all ages. As a USAG member club, the program provides island residents with access to quality gymnastics instruction in a welcoming, community-based setting.
The Bainbridge Island Metro Park and Recreation District is committed to inclusive programming and partners with local organizations to make participation accessible to island residents with limited resources. Families seeking accommodation for children with special needs are encouraged to contact the program directly at least two weeks before the first class to allow the district to determine reasonable accommodation options.
THE GYM
Bainbridge Island Gymnastics operates across two facilities managed by the Park District: the Transmitter Building at Battle Point Park and the gymnastics room at Bainbridge High School. Both facilities are used for gymnastics programming needs throughout the year, providing the program with flexible venue options for its class and team schedules.
The program is coordinated through the Bainbridge Island Metro Park and Recreation District, with Jason Balangue serving as the gymnastics program contact. The program reflects the Park District’s broader commitment to providing accessible recreational opportunities that support the physical and personal development of island youth.
