Ascend Gymnastics (DuPont)

OVERVIEW

Ascend Gymnastics DuPont is one of four locations operated by Ascend Gymnastics, the 2022 USA Gymnastics National Program of the Year. Veteran-owned and operated, the DuPont location serves families across Pierce County and the Joint Base Lewis-McChord area with recreational and competitive gymnastics, Ninja classes, and preschool programming for children from 18 months through 18 years.

Ascend Gymnastics DuPont is also home to South Sound Pre-K Academy, providing an early childhood education option alongside the gym’s broad athletics programming. The facility reflects Ascend’s commitment to creating a comprehensive and welcoming environment for children and families throughout the South Puget Sound region.

THE GYM

Ascend Gymnastics DuPont operates at 2750 Williamson Place in DuPont, Washington, offering a large, clean, and well-equipped gymnastics facility conveniently located for military and civilian families throughout southern Pierce County. The gym features a comfortable parent viewing area with free WiFi and on-site parking.

As part of the nationally recognized Ascend Gymnastics organization, the DuPont location benefits from the curriculum, coaching standards, and programming infrastructure that earned Ascend its national recognition in 2022. Athletes at DuPont train in the same quality environment and under the same coaching philosophy as athletes across all Ascend locations.

PROGRAMS AT THE GYM

Preschool and Recreational Gymnastics

Ascend Gymnastics DuPont offers preschool gymnastics for children beginning at 18 months, along with recreational classes for children through their teen years. Classes are structured to build foundational gymnastics skills progressively, with a focus on fun, physical development, and personal confidence.

Competitive Team

Ascend Gymnastics DuPont offers competitive team training within the nationally recognized Ascend program. Athletes train for USAG-sanctioned competition with an emphasis on technical development and team culture.

South Sound Pre-K Academy

Ascend Gymnastics DuPont is co-located with South Sound Pre-K Academy, offering a licensed early childhood education program for young children alongside the gym’s athletics programming.
