OVERVIEW

Gymnastics Unlimited has been a cornerstone of Federal Way’s gymnastics community since 1984, offering recreational and competitive gymnastics for children ages 3 through 18 in a family-owned and operated gym that puts a personal touch on every interaction. The gym’s mission is rooted in the belief that life skills are the goal, and gymnastics is the tool, with coaches who encourage students to learn and grow not just as athletes but as individuals in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Gymnastics Unlimited prides itself on knowing the name of each student they work with, with every child having an opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace. The gym offers classes from beginner through advanced, along with summer camps, birthday parties, and holiday events, making it one of the most welcoming and well-established gymnastics programs in the South King County area.

THE GYM

Gymnastics Unlimited operates at 34016 9th Avenue S Suite D-5 in Federal Way, Washington, offering a family-friendly gymnastics facility with ample parking for South King County families. The gym has served the Federal Way area for more than 40 years, and longtime owner Linda Richardson was honored by the City of Federal Way in recognition of her decades of service to the community through the program.

The coaching staff at Gymnastics Unlimited brings a personalized and caring approach to every class, taking the time to know each student individually and tailoring instruction to support each child’s development at their own pace. Trial classes are available for new students, and the gym is open by appointment on Sundays for parties and special events.

PROGRAMS AT THE GYM

Preschool Gymnastics

Gymnastics Unlimited offers preschool gymnastics classes including morning sessions on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 AM to 11:40 AM and Thursday from 9:30 AM to 11:35 AM for younger children beginning their gymnastics journey. Classes are structured to develop foundational movement skills, coordination, and a love of physical activity in an age-appropriate and nurturing setting.

Recreational and Competitive Gymnastics

Gymnastics Unlimited offers recreational gymnastics classes for ages 3 through 18 across multiple skill levels from beginner to advanced, with afternoon and evening sessions available throughout the week. The gym’s competitive program participates in USAG-sanctioned meets and is designed to develop athletes in a team environment that supports both athletic achievement and personal growth.

Birthday Parties and Camps

Gymnastics Unlimited offers birthday party packages on Saturday afternoons and Sundays by appointment, providing an active and memorable celebration option for families in the Federal Way area. Summer vacation camps and holiday events are also offered throughout the year, giving children additional opportunities to enjoy the gym outside of regular class programming.
