OVERVIEW

Garland’s Gymnastics is a family-owned recreational and competitive gymnastics facility in Kennewick, Washington, offering classes, birthday parties, and open gym for children throughout the Tri-Cities area. Owned and operated by Brett and Wendy Garland, the gym has built a strong reputation in the Tri-Cities for its caring, attentive coaching staff and its positive, uplifting environment where every child is treated as an individual, not just a student in a class.

Brett Garland has been involved in gymnastics coaching since ninth grade, drawn to the sport by its combination of strength, creativity, and movement. He and Wendy have created a gym where coaches genuinely care about the children they work with, and it shows in the long-term development of athletes who progress from beginner classes through competitive team.

THE GYM

Garland’s Gymnastics operates at 8710 W Victoria Avenue in Kennewick, Washington, offering a clean, well-organized gymnastics facility with multiple apparatuses and runways where athletes can train and develop their skills. The gym serves families throughout Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, and West Richland with recreational and competitive programming in a professional and welcoming environment.

Garland’s is consistently noted for its clean facility, high-quality coaching, and the strong competitive results its athletes achieve at Tri-Cities area meets. The gym runs year-round with continuous month-to-month enrollment, allowing families to join at any time. Garland’s also offers adaptive gymnastics for children with disabilities; interested families are encouraged to call ahead to discuss availability and accommodations.

PROGRAMS AT THE GYM

Recreational Gymnastics

Garland’s offers recreational gymnastics classes for children ages 18 months through 18 years, with morning and afternoon sessions available Monday through Friday. Programs include a parent-tot class for ages 18 to 36 months, girls beginner and intermediate classes, co-ed Trampoline and Tumbling classes, co-ed Ninja classes, homeschool gymnastics, and boys gymnastics instruction.

Morning sessions run 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and afternoon sessions run 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday. To register or inquire about current availability, please call (509) 582-7450 or email garlandsgymnastics@gmail.com.

Competitive Team

Garland’s Gymnastics fields a girls competitive gymnastics team by invitation only, with developmental classes also available by invitation for athletes building toward competition readiness. The team is known for performing well at Tri-Cities area competitions while maintaining a team culture that keeps athletes having fun and feeling supported throughout their competitive experience.

Ninja, Tumbling, and Open Gym

Garland’s offers co-ed Ninja Warrior classes and Trampoline and Tumbling classes at two progressive levels for children seeking high-energy, skills-based athletic instruction beyond traditional gymnastics. Open gym sessions give participants unstructured time to practice skills and enjoy the facility, and birthday party packages are available for children looking to celebrate in an active and fun environment.
