Dynamic Athletic Center

OVERVIEW

Dynamic Athletic Center is North Spokane’s largest gymnastics facility, operating from a 33,000 square foot building and offering exceptional training for athletes from toddlers through advanced competitors. A USAG member club with more than 25 years of history in the Spokane community, Dynamic has built a coaching culture centered on building confident young people, not just skilled gymnasts. The gym’s competitive team has produced state, regional, and national champions, and maintains a proud roster of NCAA collegiate gymnastics alumni who have gone on to compete at universities across the country.

Dynamic Athletic Center is also home to Dynamic All Stars competitive cheerleading and the Active Live Learning Preschool, a licensed early childhood education program that incorporates gymnastics, dance, and fitness enrichment into a theme-based academic curriculum for children ages 2 through 5.

THE GYM

Dynamic Athletic Center operates at 5512 N Havana Street in Spokane, Washington, just one minute off the North/South freeway near Francis and Market. The expansive 33,000 square foot facility features a large upstairs parent viewing area, full gymnastics apparatus for all events, and dedicated spaces for cheer and competitive team training at every level.

The coaching staff at Dynamic has been coaching and competing in the Spokane area since 1985, with a mission to help shape great people, not just great athletes. The team brought home 54 medals and seven titles at a recent Region 2 Championship, a result that reflects the sustained excellence of the program over many years of competition. Dynamic’s curriculum is inspired by the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic levels and is designed to help each child progress safely and at their own pace, whether their goal is recreational participation or competitive gymnastics at the highest level.

PROGRAMS AT THE GYM

Preschool and Recreational Gymnastics

Dynamic Athletic Center offers gymnastics classes beginning with toddler age groups through advanced teen levels. The recreational program is structured progressively, with each level building on the last through coach evaluation and skill development. Children are encouraged to participate at a comfortable pace while building the physical foundations that carry over into all other sports and activities.

Competitive Team

Dynamic Athletic Center’s competitive gymnastics team has competed in the Spokane area since 1985, producing state, regional, and national champions and NCAA collegiate gymnasts across multiple decades. The program develops athletes through all USAG Junior Olympic levels, with a coaching staff whose goal is to partner with parents to help each athlete achieve their individual goals in and out of the gym.

Dynamic All Stars and Active Live Learning Preschool

Dynamic All Stars is Spokane’s elite All Star competitive cheerleading program, operating out of the Dynamic Athletic Center facility. Active Live Learning is a licensed preschool for children ages 2 through 5, offering a theme-based academic curriculum enriched with gymnastics, dance, and movement instruction. Together these programs make Dynamic Athletic Center one of the most comprehensive youth development destinations in the Spokane region.
